What Keith Hall Training Offers
Are there any special entry requirements ?
There are no formal entry requirements but entry depends on the outcome of an Interview.
Our programme is suitable for intending Hairdressers in the 16 - 19 age group.
What do Students study and what do Students do ?
Foundation Modern Apprenticeship which consists of NVQ Level 2 and Key Skills.
Nine Hairdressing Units are studied, through a series of practical workshops and theory inputs.
Ranges of Assessment methods are used including observations, oral testing and City & Guilds written questions. All Students will develop a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate how each unit has been achieved.
The programme can last up to two years, and enables you to become skilled in all aspects of Hairdressing.
Students assist qualified Hairdressers on a daily basis, observing and learning by seeing the results of the Training Programme in action.
Attendance Details - Year One
- NVQ Curriculum at the Keith Hall Training Centre based at the Head Office, Long Eaton; one day every week
- In-Salon Training on practical and theory subjects
- Daily duties within the Salon
Attendance Details - Year Two
- NVQ Curriculum at the Keith Hall Training Centre; one day every week
- In-Salon Training at a more advanced level
- Daily duties within the Salon
